Caribbean cuisine is an utter mystery to most people and is often misrepresented as to what is Caribbean food? West Indian food dominates Caribbean cooking on these shores however; it is only a fraction of the exquisite flavours that the Caribbean has to offer.  

There are over a hundred islands cluttered throughout the Caribbean Sea, as you can imagine within these islands there are a mixture of languages and cultures. Most of these islands are heavily influenced by Europe and other parts of the world.

Almost all culture at one time and another have settled their leaving behind their own distinctive behaviour, habits and attitudes towards Caribbean fare. It’s this diversity that captures the true essence of modern day Caribbean dishes.
